Welcome to the website of Hampshire / Franklin County IAABO Board 28. As a member board of IAABO (International Association of Approved Basketball Officials), we are dedicated to providing the highest levels of professionalism and quality officiating to basketball programs throughout Western Massachusetts.
IAABO Board 28 is looking for prospective members to become certified basketball officials. Members of Board 28 officiate youth, high school, AAU, and adult league games across Hampshire and Franklin Counties of Massachusetts throughout the entire year. If you are planning to officiate, you will need to once again complete the NFHS Concussion in Sports course You will also need to complete the MIAA registration through Arbitersports. Depending on where you are in your 3 year cycle, the cost of the MIAA registration is $10 or $45 if you need a full background check this year. Also, if you have had a change to your address or phone number, please contact Secretary/Treasurer Les Bowler so he can update our roster accordingly.
